My Ocala Trip - My Family Travels

My trip to Ocala was a lot of fun. I went with just me and my mom. Her name is Ana, but people call her Tammy. It was my first time going on a trip with just me and her, so it had a lot of significant meaning to me. We went to a few restaurants, traveled around here and there, and just relaxed after all the excitement.

I’ve been to many trips, but I got to say this one was different from all the others. The shopping was the best part! There were stores I’ve never seen before! Such as, Rue21. I’m getting ahead of myself though! This is my story of how it all began..

Moving day, yet again. It seemed so far away, but my mom insisted we go search for some homes. She normally goes alone, but this time she wanted to go farther. I could understand that. She asked if I wanted to tag along while I was still in my pajamas at about 1 in the afternoon. Anyways, I said yes of course. Unfortunately, my other sisters couldn’t come due to the economy and financial problems.

Fast-forward to a day before the trip, I just began packing at 9 p.m. Some might say, “That’s really late!” I on the other hand would say, “I’m just an over achiever in a weird way.” We left bright and early the next morning, at about 7 a.m. We arrived at about 12 in the afternoon, thanks to my mom’s pit stops. We would have been there by 11-ish. We finally arrived, so I guess that’s what counts. We unpacked and waited for the realtor to pull up in her car. An hour later she arrived, and we got in her car. We saw so many beautiful homes. We ate at a country-based restaurant, I think it was named crack-a-barrel; Something of that nature.

Next day, was SHOPPING DAY! We went to Rue21, Malls, and a few department stores. It was quite an adventure. My mom wanted to go to a farm afterwards (not something I was really looking forward to). I couldn’t get out of it though, so I went. A goat kept chasing me around! I did fall in love with this beautiful brown horse, and I think it loved me back! I drove a golf cart around the farm, but my mom kept on making me laugh, so it became hard to drive. When I got off the cart, I stepped in pee. Not sure what type of pee, but it was fresh. It might have been the goat! Payback I guess, for nearly running over one; Not intentionally of course.

The last day was a sad day, I had to go! It was fun looking at new faces and cultures. We took one last look at the houses with the realtor. We decided not to move there, it was too costly. Although, my vacation was great! Nothing better than spending quality time with your mom, taking random pictures of people, stepping in pee, and my mom swearing someone stole her car over and over.
