Journey At Paris - My Family Travels

It’s Tuesday morning of my week off from school for Spring break. I look out the window and feel the morning breeze flow through my hair the smell of the local bakeries preparing for the upcoming work day. That’s when it hit me, “I’m in Paris” the city I’ve seen in movies and TV shows possibly hundreds of time and I’m finally here. The 10 hour flight suddenly become worth it. The first part of the day was sightseeing; as we traveled around Paris I noticed something about Paris that made it completely unique. The city consists of modern and classical architectural aspects, so in some parts of the cities the buildings juxtapose. Aside from its architectural aspects the city does a fantastic job of meshing its history aspect with modern day aspects. For example while you shop on what can be known as Paris’s version of “Rodeo Drive” the Arc de Triomphe is visible on the other end of the road. Where ever you go a little piece of history is there with you.  The shopping is the best in the world and the food is excellent. My favorite part of the trip was the Eiffel Tower; the Tower is the icon of Paris. Everyone and anyone who’s heard of Paris has heard of the Eiffel Tower. Standing under the tower and embracing its architectural embrace you can clearly tell how well built it is and how ahead of its time it really was. Standing tall and proud in the heart of Paris, its clearly as romantic as the movies portray it especially at night. At night the tower lights up and on every hour it glistens. For a slight fee and possibly an hour waiting in line you’re able to ride up the tower and experience breathtaking views of Paris. I can guarantee its better than the views you will receive in your hotel room. Aside from sightseeing and shopping that’s available in Paris there’s also dozens of museums and bistros. It’s the perfect city to travel to either with family and friends or that special someone.
