See For Yourself - My Family Travels

Corona is a small city in the Riverside County. It's a very quit place to visit with many places to explore. Corona is known as the "Circle City". When Corona was first found it's main street, Grand, made a circle around the city. Corona used to only be filled with Oranges. They would be everywhere around town. What is now city hall, used to be Corona's first high school that was later relocated. Corona has so much history behind it and holds many community events. I love Corona because it's so small but yet so wide in exploration.

A well-known restaurant was actually founded here in Corona, Miguel's Jr. is a very popular dinner in Corona. Many people go hiking around Corona's skyline and usually on weekdays many parents and students meet up at a well known church named Crossroads. Corona is endless. The city of Corona has one of the nicest movie theaters located on Cajalco. It has a huge beautiful water fountain in front of the entrance where all the kids hang out even if they're not going to watch a movie. Around the theater there are many points of interest such as restaurants like Buffalo Wild Wing or Starbucks and there's even shopping centers there like Target and Barnes and Nobles. On the other side of Cajalco is Dos Lagos, here there are two lakes surrounded with a shopping center and dinners. The stores consist of Forever 21, Victoria Secret and Bath and Body Works. Many people come to take pictures in Dos Lagos, prom for instance. People are attracted to this place because it has a giant spiral tunnel that runs down between the two lakes.

Corona is also a child-friendly place. West bound of Corona lies a free water park opened to the public. This water park is designed for little kids having a special surrounded water holes and water tubes, wetting the kids. To the side of the water part is a regular playground for anyone to play in. Corona is also known for having a beautiful City Hall. Our city hall has never been remodeled, containing all of its history. Outside of the building is a huge fountain surrounded by big green trees. A lot of people come here just to relax because of how peaceful and quite Corona is. All of the trees and buildings are so nicely decorated around Christmas. Corona residents have a lot of pride, we all help each other out. About each month Corona has something going on. I love helping the community and I love everything Corona offers to the public. Corona has held many walks to help fundraiser for programs or to raise awareness. I have personally walked in the Pro-Choice walk and have participated in the Relay for Life at one of our local parks. Corona is such a peaceful place with endless places to go. I always find myself walking from place to place because everything in Corona is so close to each other and so convenient. Corona is that perfect city many wish they could live in and I'm glad I'm actually living in it.
