I am going west NYC to Bay Area same time.

We are moving from Amherst MA to San Mateo, CA at the end of July. We will drive one car, and are looking for someone to drive our second car. It is a 2018 Prius.

It will be a few months before we need both cars in California. So starting any time from now to September would be fine. We are happy to pay for gas; other expenses to be negotiated.
