On July 20, 2006 my family and I headed to Las Vegas to experience everything it had to offer. We drove there to save money and this just made it even more interesting, to be sitting in a car without moving around for 16 hours. On the way we stopped at a town called Flagstaff, Nevada so my father could catch up on his sleeping since we drove 13 hours straight.
That morning we went to the hotel’s breakfast lobby, took pictures in the center piece, and headed back on the road. We arrived to the glamerous lights and fast lane lifestyle. I enjoyed just watching people with the slots since I was 17 at the time.
My parents enjoyed a show and my father and I enjoyed a ride on the top of our hotel. We bonded while my mother got her first tattoo there. We stayed for 4 days and headed back to Lawton, OK.
On the way back we stopped to see the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam. I enjoyed the lights and plan on going back when I’m of age.
