My most favorite travel experience was when I took a cruise to the Bahamas. It all started with a 2 hour drive to the Nashville Airport. From there a plane took my family and I to Atlanta, Georgia where we could then get on a plane to Jacksonville, Florida.
A short, yet exaggerating ride in the taxi took us to the cruise ship. After all the paperwork and checking-in, we were finally aboard the boat. From there we met up with the two other families we were to be traveling with. Aboard the ship my friends and I were allowed to wonder around without our parents. I was shocked at the trust and responsibility my parents were putting in me!
Whenever we got to the Bahamas we could get off the boat and tour the different cities. Whether you were walking around or riding in a tour bus you could experience a different culture. I got to enjoy the beaches tehre and tour the beautiful Altantis Hotel in Nassau!
While on the boat I got to meet some really cool people! I worked on my social skills when meeting this people. After we met, we were inseperable! To this day I still talk to my friends from the cruise and see them occasionally!
