Mystic Mountain

Last summer I took a cruise to the Caribbean with my grandma and my little sister Becca. We had a great time. We got to zip line in Haiti, climb Dunns River Falls in Jamaica, swim with dolphins in Grand Cayman, and lounge around on the beaches of Cozumel, Mexico. We also got to explore an amazing Royal Caribbean ship, Freedom of the Seas. The ship had an arcade that my sister and I would go to a lot, a Johnny Rockets, one of my favorite diners, tons of shows in the evening and had an amazing pool. The ship itself was a vacation. Although we had a lot of fun  on the boat, we also had tons of fun on our trips off it. When we were in Haiti, Becca and I zip lined over the water. Then we all went to the artisan village and bargained with the locals for great souvenirs and gifts for our family and friends. The next day the cruise took us to Jamaica. It was awesome. We spent the morning at Mystic Mountain and then went to Dunns River Falls and climbed it that afternoon. The next day of our wonderful vacation took us to Grand Cayman. We swam with dolphins! My sister and I loved it so much that we got matching T-shirts saying “I swam with Nemo”. Swimming with the dolphins was probably my favorite part of the trip. The next day we went to Cozumel, Mexico. We had passes to go to an exclusive beach, Playa Mia, but first wanted to do a little shopping. Since I was the only one in our group that spoke Spanish, I go to bargain and reason in Spanish with some of the locals. It was amazing and a great way to use my language skills. Last summer was one of the greatest summers of my life and I will always hold the memories near and dear.
