The Real Housewives of New York City stars Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin both reveal family vacation plans this summer to the Hamptons. With the kickoff of Frankel’s new Bravo reality show Bethenny Getting Married?, and the release of Zarin’s advice book Secrets of a Jewish Mother, the two housewives have some relaxation planned at their Hampton estates.

The two jet-setting families will leave the bustle of the city this summer and head east; but each family’s itinerary differs.

Frankel, along with husband Jason Hoppy and new baby daughter Bryn, will stop first at Ditch Plains in Montauk, New York to enjoy the beach and get some surfing in. While they’re there they plan on heading to The Palm, located on 94 Main St., East Hampton for dinner. The classic American Steakhouse is known for their prime aged steaks and unique caricature decorations. “Jason loves to get a good steak,” said Frankel during a conference call. Next the threesome will hit John’s Drive-In on 695 Montauk Highway where Frankel says she enjoys, “the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life.”

“All we do is eat–eat and hang out,” Frankel said of her anticipated vacation.

For Jill Zarin and her crew, the Hamptons hold different activities. “The best part about the Hamptons is the nightlife,” said Zarin. Speaking of Mecox Beach on Dune Road in Bridgehampton, Zarin said, “Not only is it my favorite beach, but it’s next-door to my house.”

They will also enjoy “the best burgers in the Hamptons” at 75 Main Street Restaurant, and Columbo frozen yogurt at Fudge Company located in Southampton.

Frankel, who is the daughter of late thoroughbred race horse trainer Robert Frankel, recently celebrated the June 10 release of her Housewives spinoff Bethany Getting Married?, a reality show on Bravo about her wedding to Jason Hoppy.

The lover of Long Island beaches and “real housewife” appeared in several films in the 90’s, and attended the Natural Gourmet Culinary Institute in New York to become a chef, after which she started a wheat-, egg-, and dairy-free baked goods company and was a contestant on NBC’s The Apprentice: Martha Stewart.

In 2010 Zarin published the advice book Secrets of a Jewish Mother, which she co-authored with her sister and mother.
