Florida & Bahamas Cruse my first trip out of the United States
Have you ever been out of the United States for the first time? Well, this was my first trip out of the states, and I learned many valuable lessons. Lesson number one when going out of town on a promotional deal make sure you read the fine print. When we got into Florida from St. Louis we learned that the car that they were going to give us was not going to be big enough for the three of us. We also learned that when going out of town that you need to pack light or you will have problems later. The other lessons I learned was that when going out of town anything is possible. For example, we arrived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and we incurred a rain storm that first day. The other lessons we learned was that you don’t get to pick the hotels when you get a proportional deal we stayed at the Ramada Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This Hotel was not a Luxury hotel, it was ok. Hotel could have been more decent. We had to pay for our meals which were suppose to be part of the package that we should have gotten. Promotional deals aren’t always promotional because you incur all kinds of taxes which ended up being no deal at all. Well overall, we had a great time because we got to drive around Florida we went to Fort Lauderdale, Miami and other parts of Florida before we had to go on our Cruse to the Bahamas.
The Bahamas Curse was great we also learned many lesson on this cruse. Please be polite to the ones serving you are they will cause problems for you. For instance, my cousin had an all out confrontation with a guy who was helping us to load our stuff on the ship. The guy had said something that was inappropriate and my cousin got upset and told his boss on him for poor customer service and the guy threatened us and said that he was going to pay us back or get us I was afraid to death of getting back off that ship because of that. We made it back off the ship with no problems. Well, when we got on the ship we learned many horror stories of people who had taken the promotional deals some people didn’t plan ahead and had to pay all the money they had for a rental car because they would not accept their insurance so they didn’t have any spending money by the time they got on the ship. There were many other stories but I will not go into them, but overall I enjoyed meeting new people and going Snorkeling and being on the beach at night and being on the cruse ship and the overall trip I give a B+. In conclusion, if I had to do it all over again I would, its good to have the good with the bad that’s what makes for a good trip. When going on a cruse, make sure you know everything about the ship what you can bring and what you can’t. If you can’t afford to get your hair done your photos will not come out like you want them to so if your thinking about going on a cruse make sure your prepared, cause if your not be prepared for anything an everything to happen. Murphy’s Law whatever can happen will happen. Have a nice Trip.
