In the center of Ben Ninh Kieu is Nha Long Co which is listed in the category of restaurant and opened about seventeen hours a day. There is a gift shop in front of it where you can purchase some fantastic souvenirs for your family and friends. During the mid-January to mid-February, they have one huge convention, it is not only in this city, but it is also the traditional national celebration which is called Tet in Vietnamese, and Chinese Lunar New Year in English. Before the entire country celebrates, you will see people use various types of flowers that are symbol for this tradition such as chrysanthemum and cherry blossom, and decorate them as the most gorgeous plant in the middle of the street at Ben Ninh Kieu.
In some ways, not every foreigner understands what people are singing in Vietnamese. Nevertheless, they do feel what people try to convey to the audience because they sing with so much emotion and passion. You should visit Cai Rang District next which is located in Southeast of Can Tho city and is famous for Cho Noi Cai Rang or Cai Rang floating market. Merchants will get on a small boat full of their supplies, and every kind of fruits such as water melon and orange; and sell them to any travelers passing through by settling the boat to the land.
There are many more events occurring within this city and in this country in general. Full of mystery in the city and wondering from tourists will create an unexpected journey, not dangerous, but filled with delight and curiosity.
