Kids Stay Free and More Deals at Alta Lodge
New for the 2020-21 season, the slopeside Alta Lodge is offering special savings with a Kids Stay Free program. Every month of the winter season includes periods when families can ski, stay and save. With more flexibility, it’s the perfect time to redefine recess and spend a non-peak week at the Lodge.
Just book a four-night minimum stay in a standard room (or upgrade) during the Kids Stay Free dates, and children ages 12 and under stay in parent’s or grandparent’s room at no additional charge. With two children, this is a savings of over $200 per night because lodging rates include a wonderful chef-prepared hot breakfast and four-course dinner (with child-friendly options.)
Families can save even more by traveling during the early Nov. 20 to Dec. 17, 2020 ski season, or during spring (April 4 to 17, 2021), which guarantee the lowest rates of the winter season.
What Makes the Alta Lodge So Special?
Guests of Alta Lodge are welcomed to an authentic and unique home away from home experience without the hassle of grocery shopping and cooking meals. Accommodations are comfortable and the lodge provides ski-in/ski-out access to Utah’s famous “greatest snow on earth.”
At Alta Lodge, the fun doesn’t stop once the ski day is over. As a bonus, Alta Lodge offers a complimentary Kids’ Club throughout the winter season. Once you make your way back to the Lodge after a full day on the slopes, their team is ready to keep everyone in the family entertained and engaged until bedtime.
Expect teatime, sledding and indoor activities which younger guests can enjoy on their own timeframe. Adults will appreciate the Lodge’s popular après ski scene and the chance to have an adult only dinner.
Alta is a True Skier’s Mountain
Alta is one of only three skiers-only mountains in the U.S. and a legendary leader in Utah’s ski scene. Yet this big mountain with a small town feel welcomes newcomers of all levels and ages. Countless generations of families from near and far have learned to ski at Alta’s highly regarded ski school.
Snowbird Resort, just a mile down pretty Cottonwood Canyon and easily accessible, is where snowboarders in the family can improve their skills. Skiers can explore both, enjoying the Alta-Bird experience with one upgraded lift ticket.
