Q – Alisa H. of Richland, Washington inquires: My husband and I and our two children, (ages 4 and 8) are planning to visit Rome, Naples and Pompeii. We would like some suggestions on lodging, and activities that will interest the children, other than museums and historical sites.
A – Italy is most welcoming to children and there is certainly lots for them to enjoy. Please check out FTF for the following stories which contain information I think you will find helpful:
First, read “Rome with Children“ written by a travel agent specializing in family travel. Also, read “Buried in Time at Pompeii” to learn about a family’s experience there.
Next, check out our hotel guide, “Rome, Italy Hotels and Resorts“ and “A Home of Your Own in Italy,” FTF’s guide to villa and apartment rentals throughout the country.
