Smooth singer and songwriter Robin Thicke is set to perform Saturday, March 13 at the Tropicana Casino & Resort’s Showroom in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Tickets for the event are available from February 12, 2010; prices range between only $35 and $55 per person and they can be purchased at the Tropicana Box Office, through the Ticketmaster website or by phone at 800/745-3000.
Thicke, the recipient of three Grammys awards, has collaborated with a number of renowned artists and only recently entered the musical realm of hip-hop and R&B. Very much the teen girl dream guy (Not to compete with McDreamy, of course), Thicke recently came out with his album, Sex Therapy: The Session, which features artists like Snoop Dog and Jay-Z.
Before the show, there’s a lot to get into in the city that’s always turned on, and the Tropicana has it all. The casino runs 24 hours and features over 2,100 spacious standard and deluxe rooms and suites. For more information, visit the Tropicana Casino & Resort website or call at 800/345-8767.
Also, the Tropicana houses The Quarter, an inside shopping complex that also includes several restaurants and clubs. For more entertainment, guests can watch a movie at the IMAX Theatre, relax at one of the facility’s two pools or release some tension at the Tropicana’s spa.
While kids will have fun shopping, eating and swimming inside, they’ll also enjoy walking along the boardwalk just outside the building. Some kid-friendly favorites include IT’SUGAR, a candy shop with every sugary treat imaginable, including giant gummy bears, edible jewelry and fun T-shirts for every age in the family.
The Atlantic City Hilton is a mere 5-minute walk from the Tropicana and is best for families with children under 21 looking to stay overnight. While the hotel has its own casino downstairs, it’s a much quieter environment than the Tropicana and rooms don’t skimp on space. The hotel also houses a 9,000-square-foot, climate-controlled pool for when the kids want to take a break from the boardwalk and splash around indoors. Seasonal specials can mean double rooms under $100/night. For more information, visit the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort website or call at 800/522-4700.
