Star Trekking: John Travolta’s Newborn is Already Flying the Skies - My Family Travels
John Travolta and new baby

Two-month-old Benjamin Travolta is already logging hours towards his pilot’s license.  Following in father’s, John Travolta (now age 56) footsteps, newborn Benjamin is flying the friendly skies.

An avid pilot who flies regularly for Qantas Airways, Travolta, as reported by People Magazine, took little Ben in the middle of the action when he spent time on the flight deck during the family’s trip to their home in Maine for the holidays. The infant was only ten-days old.

Travolta told People, “I’ve already taken him in the cockpit with me.”

Celebrity Baby Scoop also quotes the proud dad and Grease actor speaking of Ben’s first flight, “Yeah he’s flown from Florida to Maine, he’s had his first air trip with me as a pilot and he came into the cockpit, we got pictures of that.”

Some gossip outlets, such as HollyBaby, have voiced that it is irresponsible parenting to allow such a young baby to fly the skies.  But with flying being such a big passion of Travolta’s it is no surprise that Ben is already seeing the flight action.

Ben’s mother, Kelly Preston, 48, and his older sister, Ella Bleu, 10, were both present during the flight to ensure his safety in the air.
