Pet Friendly Places to Stay on Fort Myers Beach - My Family Travels

Mimi along the shore at Fort Myers Beach.

My husband and I always travel with our beloved pooch, Mimi.  That’s why I always try to find pet friendly rentals for my rental business.

We reside on Fort Myers Beach, Florida.  This is a small island coummunity located in Southwest Florida.  An fun and intimate island, seven miles long with seven miles of white sand.  Family friendly and pet friendly.  You may walk or run with your beloved pooch on othe beach every day.  On leash, but for off leash fun, there is a doggie beach just off the island.

The Island is also terribly romantic.  With our sunsets, how can it be otherwise?

I have several new vacation rentals on Fort Myers Beach, Florida.  The properties below are pet friendly, which is exciting to me as a dog person.  It also makes good sense, as our beach is a pet friendly beach.  Vacationers and locals alike may take their pooches for a walk or run on our gorgeous white sand.  For more info on these properties or to book, please call me at 239-849-3064 or email:  [email protected]

I have a 2 bedroom and 2 bath unit and a 1 bedroom and 1 bath unit just steps from the Beach, the Beach Places, both pet friendly.  There is also a 3 bedroom/2 bath unit and 1 bedroom units right on the Canal, also pet friendly.

From a quirky retail store, to a nature park with over 380 live animals, the Shell Factory is “must see” for families visiting The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel in Southwest Florida. Located in Fort Myers, this iconic, offbeat roadside attraction offers a variety of activities, souvenirs and experiences for visitors of all ages to enjoy.

You can shop for Christmas decorations in the Christmas store (which is open year-round!), try out a hurricane simulator, watch hermit crab races, stroll through aisles filled with taxidermy, indulge in homemade fudge, channel your inner pirate in the Pirate room and more.

Thanks to Julianna Bryan for her fun suggestion.
