A Week In Spain | My Family Travels

My junior year me and my friends took an international studies class at our high school. We focused on learning every possible detail of Spain, from the food, to the language. Though the work was ridiculous and tiring, it was very well worth it. Whoever passed the class was going to be able to go to Spain for free the following year. We passed and got the chance to go in the first week of April2010. We had a great time it was truly beautiful. We are a group of simple kinds from Camden, NJ who never leave the confines of our environment. It still feels like a dream having been able to go on the trip of a lifetime. We spent four days in Madrid and three days in Barcelona. Everything was how I imagined it and soome. We traveled to all the places that one should see while in Spain; La Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, the life size works of Antonio Guadi, and the beauty that is the Mediterranean Sea! We also made new friends with people from Hollister, California and people from Bermuda. People i will never forget. Its was the cultural experience of a life time. I cannot wait to go back…
