All-American Family Weekend from $269/N - My Family Travels

Baseball season is now open and that means plenty of family bonding over this great American pastime.  Ballparks across America are welcoming kids of all ages — while munching on classics like peanuts and crackerjacks — to witness top athletes play the sport.

For families planning vacations with a ballgame included in the itinerary, consider a great package that includes lodging, baseball tickets and much more.

The Omni San Diego Hotel is offering an “All-American” baseball package so that families can experience a great sport while still enjoying deluxe accommodations as well as access to some of San Diego’s other great family attractions.

The package includes overnight deluxe accommodations for two, two tickets to a San Diego Padres game with access to the hotel’s sky bridge, a slice of apple pie for each guest, breakfast for two at the hotel restaurant, McCormick & Schmick, and complimentary valet parking.  As an added the bonus to the package, if a Padres player hits a grand slam during the game you attend, Omni San Diego Hotel will offer you a $99 rate for a return visit to the hotel.

Guests can choose between general admission seats with the package starting at $269 per night, or opt for field box seats with the package starting at $299 per night.  The package rates are based on double occupancy, are subject to change, and do not include taxes.  Families should purchase the package at least 14 days prior to arrival and will be asked to pay in full at the time of booking.  If the Padres are lucky, this deal may last into October.

Packages can be booked online with Omni Hotels or over the phone 800/THE-OMNI.
