Michael Jackson's former costume designers Dennis Thompkins and Michael Bush have released an extensive collection of his wardrobe to Julien's Auctions for the international tour, Icons & Idols.
So even though we will never see the King of Pop perform live again, his rhinestone glove lives on and may be coming to a city near you! Here's a rundown of announced dates and locations:
Michael Jackson Costumes Tour Santiago, Chile
The collection will make its debut at the Museo de la Moda in Santiago, Chile. The show opens to the public on May 18, 2012 and will run until June 27, 2012. Admission rates are 3500 CLP (7 USD) for adults and 2000 CLP (4 USD) for seniors and students. Children under 10 are admitted free.
If the eastern view of the Andes gets your heart pounding, a trip to the mountains is only a few hours away. June is the perfect time of year for scoring travel deals on winter vacations, so after visiting the exhibition in the city, head up north to one of the ski resorts in Valle Nevado and Portillo for a weekend spent hitting the slopes.
Jackson Wardrobe Tour Moves to Europe
The European leg of the tour will start just south of Dublin in County Kildare, Ireland at The Museum Of Style Icons at Newbridge Silverware. The exhibition runs from July 2 until July 15, and admission is free!
