Sprouts Farmers Market in Apple Valley, CA is set to open on October 10, 2025. The store is located at 19439 Bear Valley Road, at the corner of Bear Valley Road and Apple Valley Road. It will bring 76 full- and part-time jobs to the community and marks Sprouts’ second High Desert location, following the Victorville opening in March 2024.

Shoppers can expect a strong emphasis on fresh produce, organics, plant-based options, and gluten-free selections. The grand opening celebration will feature a ribbon-cutting at 6:45 AM, with early visitors receiving reusable shopping bags filled with samples, along with pop-ups and exclusive savings throughout the day.

2. Raising Cane’s – Victorville, CA

Raising Cane’s is opening its first location in Victorville, CA near the WinCo in the Desert Sun Plaza. The building will be about 2,900 sq ft with dual-lane drive-thru, indoor and outdoor dining. The restaurant will be located off Roy Rogers Drive with access via Roy Rogers Drive and a shared approach to Civic Drive.

Construction site grading has begun but an opening date has not yet been announced. This will be the chain’s first Victorville store; the closest current location is in Hesperia.

3. Pollo Campero – Victorville, CA

Pollo Campero is officially on its way to Victorville, bringing its famous citrus-marinated chicken and Latin-inspired flavors to the High Desert. Construction is already underway in the 12300 block of Mariposa Road near Bear Valley Road, right by the 15 Freeway. The new spot will greet locals at the entrance of the shopping center that also houses Planet Fitness and Vallarta Supermarkets.

Fans can look forward to the brand’s signature fried and grilled chicken, plus sides that go far beyond the ordinary. While excitement is building, an official opening date has not yet been announced. For now, all eyes are on the site as it transforms into one of Victorville’s most anticipated new dining options.

4. Sam’s Club – Hesperia, CA

Big-box shopping is about to get a High Desert twist, as Sam’s Club sets its sights on Hesperia. The retailer has secured a 6.5-acre site at Amargosa Road and Key Pointe Avenue, right off the I-15. This marks the first Sam’s Club in the Mojave River Valley, bringing bulk bargains and member perks closer to home.

The project is currently moving through the city’s entitlement and approval process. Once built, it will create new jobs, boost local revenue, and give residents another major retail option. An official opening date hasn’t been announced yet, but anticipation is already growing.

5. ALDI – Apple Valley, CA

Get ready, Apple Valley! ALDI is coming to town as the anchor store of the newly approved Buffalo Trading Post Plaza. The plaza will sit on the southeast corner of Rancherias Road and Highway 18, just west of Walmart. The ALDI building is planned to be about 20,599 square feet, as part of a 39,219-sq.-ft. development that also includes Chipotle, Wendy’s, Dutch Bros Coffee, and other retail.

The site is currently approved; the existing building will be demolished to make way for the plaza. No official opening date has been shared yet.

6. Dutch Bros Coffee – Victorville, CA

Dutch Bros Coffee already has a location open at 14788 Bear Valley Road in Victorville, CA. The hours there are Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Friday/Saturday extended to 11:00 PM. A new site is planned for Palmdale Road & Cantina Street, Victorville, on a 0.57-acre parcel, expected to include drive-thru lanes and small parking.

This new build will be around 950 sq ft. Official opening date for the Palmdale & Cantina location has not yet been shared.
