Pike Place Market is one of Seattle’s most famous attractions. Pike Place is something that you definitely do NOT want to miss while you’re here! It is a local market, full of fresh food, flowers, shops, bookstores, and just about anything else you can imagine! This is where the famous fish-throwing market is. You can also get some incredible hot, fresh, donuts here. Daily Dozen Donuts are some of the best donuts in the country, and are really cheap! You can find them past the fish section of the market near the stairs.

So you’ve seen the market, picked up your fresh donuts, and are wondering “Now what?” I hope you have gum handy, because you’re going to need it at the gum wall! Remember those stairs by Daily Dozen Donuts? Head down them, and follow the alley downwards. In just a few seconds you’ll see this hotspot! Chew some gum, stick it on the wall, and take some pictures! Your friends and family back home will be astonished, and it will be a fun experience for everybody you’re with!

Next on the list is just a little ways from the market. Now it’s time to head on over to the Seattle Aquarium and The Great Wheel. These two favorites are literally right next to each other! The Aquarium is a great place to take your kids. It has a lot of interactive games and informational presentations. There is everything from fish to otters to seabirds here! You can even check out the touch tank brimming with sea life and see how tall you are compared to a great white shark!

The Great Wheel is Seattle’s very own Ferris wheel. It provides one of the best views of the city, waterfront, and the surrounding areas. The Wheel gives you a few rides around, and it is a great place to take a rest while enjoying some scenic views. You can even see the Space Needle from the top!

One of the best places to view the Space Needle is from Kerry Park. Kerry Park offers the classic view of the Seattle Skyline. It has a great view of the Needle, and even has Mount Rainer in the background. This is the perfect place for group photos, picnics, and relaxing with the family.

So you’ve seen the Space Needle from all over the city now-why not go an experience it for yourself? The Space Needle is located in downtown Seattle; you can see it from almost anywhere in the city! Head on over to the Needle and enjoy fine dining at the top and enjoy the view! You can even just go up to the visitors deck and walk around to enjoy the very best view of the Puget Sound!

Looking for a beach day? Head across the sound to Alki Beach! The strip is full of the Seattle skyline’s view, and has plenty of local eateries and shops to keep you and your family busy all day.
