In Lilburn there are a lot of things to do you can go to The Yellow Game Ranch, which is a twenty-four acre petting zoo consisting of bunnies, goats, deer, buffalo and a plethora of new born animals. Also in this ranch is where one of the largest herds of buffalo east of the Mississippi River can be seen. There are two high schools in Lilburn Parkview and Berkmar, both schools awarded excellence in academics but Parkview High School is definitely one of the most competitive athletic schools around, having numerous state championships in different sports and tons of state playoff appearances. If you want to take a break from all the little league and high school sports, but still wanting to stay local you can even go see some minor league baseball as the Gwinnett Braves get ready to take on an opponent at Cool-ray Field. This great suburban area holds a forty-four acre park/aquatics center, named Mountain Park the park has numerous amenities such as skating, playgrounds and walking trails, and two indoor pools and an outdoor water park, home of a two-story water slide, a lazy river and shallow pool as well as sun bathing. Also at this park they have little league sporting events taking place.
