Whatever fits you or your family’s needs, we have it. Are you adventurous? The multitudes of theme parks can take you on an array of heart pounding rides. Flip back and forth on one of their roller coasters, or relax with a patented “Butterbeer” beverage at the Islands of Adventure Park. At Seaworld, come face to face with marine life such as dolphins, sharks and whales simply by going up to the glass. Disney’s Epcot has its “World Showcase Attractions,” a lake surrounded by separate themed areas with different cultures from around the world. Only here can you try culinary dishes from Italy, view architectural designs prevalent in China, or even get a glimpse of popular music in Africa in a matter of minutes. The Theme Parks in Central Florida have earned all of the fame they get, as they are truly ahead of their time, making them a popular tourist destination.
But not all people are looking for an adrenaline rush. Some hate the big city Theme Park hustle and bustle. We understand that it isn’t for everyone. Are you more laid back, and want to relax and enjoy a quiet, peaceful atmosphere? Longwood’s Wekiwa Springs has the answer. It boasts a swimming hole laid beautifully at the bottom of an angled patch of grass, where park guests can sprawl out and get some sun; allowing for an exhilaratingly peaceful visit. This is also provides a nice treat after walking one of the three available hikes the park has to offer. After a long, hard walk, you can cool off in the watering hole, washing away your worries.
But maybe you are on vacation with a loved one. Are you looking for a romantic place to take that special someone? Look no further than Cranes Roost in Downtown Altamonte. The park sports a one mile walkway around and over the lake, and is home to flocks of birds, as well as a multitude of couples. Couples are often seen gathering across the park on one of many benches; watching the sun as it beautifully sets over the lake, fading away like all of life’s worries. The sight is amazing, and nothing short of breathtaking. Throw in the live music provided weekly, as well as the beautifully articulated water fountain, and you have yourself a wonderful night out with a loved one. All of these places have their niches that no other place can fill. All in all, people want their money’s worth when they take a vacation. However, they don’t want to feel like they are being burdened or stressed as a result of not getting enough out of the trip. This is why Central Florida is the remedy for anyone looking to get away from the stress of life. Whether it’s an adrenaline rush you seek for in a vacation, a small relaxed park you enjoy, or a romantic stroll with a loved one you want, Central Florida is the one stop for anything good, and everything worthwhile.
