My Minnesota..Make It Yours!

The Twin Cities area of Minneapolis Saint Paul, Minnesota is cosmopolitan at its heart with an appealing array of things to see and do! With winding rivers, grand bluffs, and even the Mall of America, a designated family vacation or weekend getaway is waiting here for you! Upon arrival, make sure to save your Delta Biscoff cookies, or your pit stop gas station beef jerky for later. We’d love to prepare a true Minnesotan top tasting walleye dinner for you and your family at Mac’s Fish & Chips! Might I add they make their own assortments of Salt Water Taffy in the restaurant as well?

We hope you enjoy sports as much as we do! For being a small market sports mecca we are the home of six professional sports teams including the Minnesota Twins, Lynx, Vikings, Timberwolves, and you can’t forget we are the State of Hockey supporting the Minnesota Wild. Depending on the season, grab a parka or maybe some hand-warmers because you may get a bit chilly!

If you’re feeling adventurous, take a gander around the scenic area of Gooseberry Falls, Minnehaha Falls, or St. Anthony’s Falls. Just promise not to fall in…! Trails are available for hiking and biking, campgrounds for roasting delectable marshmallows, and wildlife and rolling water falls for a photographers delight! Though Minnesota is declared as The Land of 10,000 lakes, whether you’re a boater, fisher, swimmer or floater, there are actually closer to 12,000 lakes. Water fun for everyone! If you’re lucky, you may even come across Minnesota’s native bird swimming, the Loon!

The pinnacle of the summer is the Minnesota State Fair. With close to 2 million attendees each year, the fair starts on August 22nd to September 2nd fulfilled with food, concerts, amusement rides, and animal showing. With artists such as KISS, Sheryl Crow, Train and many more, your ears will thank you for the outstanding, once in a lifetime show. Deep fried candy bars, grilled corn, chocolate covered bacon, and any food item on a stick that you could think of is usually sold! If you’re an animal lover like myself, you’d adore the baby farm animal barn where you could get the chance to not only see, but hold a newborn baby piglet, calf, or lamb. Sit back and relax on the always exquisite skyride that takes you on a tour towering above everybody as you circle the fair! Don’t forget to take a spin on the family friendly ferris wheel before your fair day ends.

Though your photographs and memories will last a lifetime, Minnesota will always welcome you back after your fun filled, jam packed, blast of a trip! Book your dream vacation today, for Minnesota awaits you!
