One of the world’s most flamboyant and individual performers joined the A-list at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas! Her “little monsters” can pose with the wax look-alike and don their favorite Lady Gaga inspired masks and costumes. Post a few selfies of you and Gaga and see how many of your friends think it’s the real celebrity.

An incredibly lifelike Lady Gaga debuted in Las Vegas and seven of Madame Tussauds’ worldwide attractions, including two other U.S. locations – Madame Tussauds New York, and Madame Tussauds Hollywood.

Pictured here in Las Vegas, she wears the Mini Mouse outfit: a one-shoulder, black latex bodysuit and long, straight hair topped off with Mini Mouse style buns, as seen on a visit to BBC Radio 1 studios in London.

All eight Lady Gaga wax figures were unveiled at once, with each Madame Tussauds tableau revealing a different portrayal of Lady Gaga. Additional cities to see the garments that this rock star inhabits include London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

How do they do it? Each figure was first sculpted in clay before being molded in wax, says a spokesperson for Madame Tussauds corporate office. “A team of expert artists then accurately recreated color and skin tones, replicating every freckle, mole and dimple,” she adds (we won’t comment on Lady Gaga’s skin!), “before the make-up, artists, hairdressers and stylists finished off the variety of looks.”

The painstaking process took four months to complete at a cost of more than $300,000 per figure, adding up to grand total of $2.4 million for all eight figures.

  • We certainly understand your concerns because Lady Gaga's clothing and style can shock anyone of any age. However, you might not be aware that she is a champion fund raiser for AIDS Awareness, has been active in gay rights issues, actively supports our troops, and has been a philanthropist to all sorts of causes.

For many girls, as well, her outrageous style, fierce independence, intelligence and undeniable success are very inspiring. We believe the exhibits at Mme Tussauds will be a big success.

As a parent of two young boys I don't find anything positive about Lady Gaga. It is sad that FTF is promoting her. Her dress and her comments do more to harm young children then help.

It is understandable that the Brits would promote her but I guess I expected better from an organization like FTF.
