Whether you're here for business or pleasure you can find everything you're looking for nestled in a town of about 30,000. Home to the worlds largest retailer, a world class art museum, numerous outdoor trails and parks, a thriving night life, and the quaint small town hospitality, Bentonville, Ar is the town I have had the priviledge of calling home since I was born. We are the home of Walmart, which results in an incredibly diverse community. Most people have moved in to Bentonville from all over the world. At the local high school, it seems as though I am a rare breed since Bentonville is the only place I have ever called home. Some people might not like this aspect, however, I love it. The different types of cultures represented through the town create an atmosphere where anyone and everyone is welcomed with smiles and homemade sweet tea. Step into the very first Walton's five and dime where you can get to know who Sam Walton was and how he achieved building the largset retail chain in the world. Each night, especially on the weekends, you can find people flocking to the square in the heart of the town. Whether they are eating at one of the local cafes or grabbing a crepe to go, they spend the evening gazing at the smiles on every face and hearing the laughter in the air. Throughout the day tourists, locals, and even celebrities make their way over to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, where they can look upon some of the most famous pieces done by American artists. On a summers night, its the perfect place to hear live bands and catch up with friends. You can find a lot of people touring the newly built 21C hotel with the most modern flair. In the Winter, its the perfect place to go ice skating and view the simple, yet glorious Christmas lights beaming on the square. In the Fall, at one of the top high schools in the nation high school football takes over and reminds me that this truly is a small, southern hometown. Anytime of the year you will find people training for their next marathon, walking their dog, or enjoying a leisure walk and taking in the fresh Arkansas breeze. No matter what you desire in a lifestyle, Bentonville, Ar has it. Our community is completly diverse, but somehow we have managed to become meshed into a community of the American dream.
