Hi! My partner and I did a road trip around all the North of Spain, we rented apartments in San Sebastian, Bilbao, Pamplona, Zaragoza and Barcelona, and visited all those places. But, without any doubt, Barcelona was our favorite! 🙂 For those who haven’t gone yet, Barcelona is a must!

I went to Barcelona last year and visited the Sagrada Familia, Guell Park and the Casa Batllo but as we stayed in the city only for a few days it wasn’t enough to explore everything. Planning to go back next year or maybe at the end of this year!

Thanks for the advise. I agree with you that Barcelona should be experienced in totality and there are several artistic wonders around the city. Yes it is a heaven for medieval architecture

Barcelona is a great place to visit in autumn or early spring when it’s still not very crowded. Watch out when strolling around La Rambla, it’s full of pickpockets. For me what’s great about the city is that apart from its history and rich cultural life it’s also located in one of Spain’s most beautiful regions. It’s really the splendid view of the Montjuic castle from the sea and the city’s proximity to Costa Brava that make it an ideal destination for us sailing lovers – last year I even sailed to Ibiza, although that’s a long trop. I also read on this blog that the Clock Tower next to the Montjuic cable car was the place where the metric system was invented!

Hello! I went to Barcelona with my dad and we visited the Sagrada Familia, which is a huge and glorious masterpiece! We also went to the Park Guell and the House Batlló. There are plenty of activities to do in Barcelona and the most difficult part is to choose from. Here livingtours.com/en/trips/tours/barcelona-spain you can find some nice ideas! Near Barcelona, I recommend visiting the Montserrat mountains and monastery. Safe travels.

Hello! I went to Barcelona last summer and I did a City Tour Barcelona with a Vespa. It was amazing! I think was the best idea to visit all the city and in the most funny way. I strongly recommend!

My daughter and I were in Barcelona last week. We found everyone friendly and helpful. The city is charming and easy to navigate. We felt very safe; we walked everywhere, though wanted to use scooter rental Barcelona (we could have explored more) but since it was a little bit cold, we did lots of walking. My recommendation to potential travelers is to give yourself a week to explore and let yourself get lost. And if you have time, explore the neighbouring medieval towns, Rupit, Siurana, Besalu. Those are really charming and picturesque.
