I recently got married and we decided to go to Sicily and Paris for our honeymoon.
While Paris was wonderful, Sicily was to die for!
We stayed at the most unbelievable hotel, The Verdura – it’s the newest hotel from the Rocco Forte Collection. The property was amazing, delicious food, three golf courses, the largest spa in Europe and a huge focus on being green and sustainable.
From solar panels and roof top gardens, to ample fleets of bicycles for guests to ride about the property, this hotel truly put a huge emphasis on the guest experience.
The hotel was also extremely family friendly, with ongoing kid’s activities (as seen in the morning calendar newsletter), separate kid’s day-time programs, and even the breakfast dining room became strictly for kids after 11 a.m.
If you have the chance to visit, not only is Sicily a beautiful destination, The Verdua hotel will make you never want to leave the island!
