Check out these wacky town names in the United States that I read about in an article from an airline magazine. I so don’t want to go to any of these places if I don’t have to.
The weird names include:
Zip City, AL and Gas City, IN; False Pass, AK; Toad Suck, AR; Cabbage Patch, CA; Hygiene, CO; Two Egg, FL; and of course, Youth, GA.
I wonder if Correctionville (IA) is more of a Hellhole (ID) than Spasticville (KS), Coffeeville (MI), Rudeville (NJ), or Truthville (NY)?
And Why (AZ) do all kids Pray (MT) that you will stop for lunch in Funk (NE), Brave (PA), Loving (NM), Ordinary (VA) or Odd (WV), but find Boring (OR) and Boring (MD) pure Hell (MI)?
Please don’t Embarrass (MN) young travelers by making them pose with street signs from Frankenstein (MO), Duckwater (NV), Hi Hat (KY), Waterproof (LA), Boogertown (NC), Defiance (OH), Jet (OK), Mud Butte (SD), Finger (TN), Turkey (TX), Bloodsucker Pond (VT), Humptulips (WA), or Winnebago (WI).
