On the summer of 2008, I was twelve years old when we had a vacation in the Philippines. We visit the Philippines every couple years to reunite with our relatives again and explore the country. The things I miss the most is the family, the culture, the fresh food, the beaches, and the huge shopping malls, of course. It’s been four years, but I still remember it very clearly.
Whenever we go to Tagaytay City, Cavite, we went to Leslie’s Restaurant where some of the tables were in huts on the cliff of the mountain, and overlooks the Taal Lake. There, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Taal Volcano in the distance and a live group performing at your tables.
Manila, the capital of the Philippines, has many destinations for people to go to. We visited the Manila Zoo and the Manila Ocean Park. I don’t know about you, but I think that was the first I have seen the elephant. There was also an area where we had a fun time boating. My favorite mall is also there, the humongous Mall of Asia. Near the coastal side of the mall, there are restaurants, exercise areas, a fountain that plays shows, and the view of the ocean.
