My hometown, Denver, is one of the best communities a person could ask for. It is a city of varied inhabitants, and it feels like a home to each and every one of us. Part of what makes Denver so appealing is its young vibe; places and attractions are constantly being built or restructured, and many young people move here to keep Denver feeling fresh. For example, the Colorado History Museum was recently redone and now includes more interesting exhibits than ever. The Denver Art Museum downtown is one of the most interesting urban structures, and the art isn’t half bad either. Another high point of living in Denver is its proximity to the mountains. Living in Denver gives you all the benefits of sunny Colorado weather, with the option of driving to the mountains and seeing some snow within an hour, if the mood strikes you. Aside from going to the mountains to see nature, there are some really nice places in Denver to go exploring. My favorite is the Bluff Lake Nature Center, located in Northeast Denver. However, if you’re more of an urbanite, you might consider visiting the 16th Street Mall! It’s a mile and a quarter of cute shops, great restaurants, and street performers. All in all, Denver is a truly great city to visit, for travelers of any age.
