The world is filled and made of sights that everyone may come to see from all walks of life. My world is circled around a community of excitement, fast-paced living, and fun activities for families. This world of mine being Houston, Texas; a major city with enjoyment meant for everyone. I have lived in Houston for close to six years and have visited just about every corner of this great city.

Houston holds many wonders whether it require money of just the presence of great people. One attraction worth the free amount is for a family who loves outdoors and beautiful sights. The family should partake in the relaxation of Hermann Park. Hermann Park includes 445 acres of land, waterfalls, picture taking memories, and different genre sections for all cultures. The family would even be surprised to hear the memorable sounds of a local saxophone player. Should one become bored by the free attractions; they may purchase tickets to the Houston Zoo, Miller Outdoor Theatre, The Houston Museum of Natural Science, The Houston Garden Center, or The Hermann Park Golf Course. All those attractions are located within the heart of the city. Once the family has had fun together experiencing the treasure of a beautiful land, everyone will most likely be hungry. Why not find a spectacular establishment to have an affordable and pleasing dinner less than seven miles from the park? That place would have to the Spaghetti Warehouse which includes Italian cuisine. Never turn away the bread that the waiter brings to the table instead slap some butter on it and enjoy the great fluff it gives to your mouth. Another item to die for on the menu would have to be the brownie sundae supreme, a brownie made with chocolate chips, pecans, and walnuts topped off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with fudge and caramel sauce all for the price of $4.99. It sounds and tastes like a square deal to me literally. If the food wasn’t enough to convince you to come, the kids would sure hate to not hear the story of the haunted land that the building sits on. The kids will sure get a scare-full from the friendly waiters. The last attraction within in downtown’s heart would have to the Houston’s Downtown Aquarium. Ever seen a piranha, rode a carousel, visited a lion’s den, and relaxed on a Ferris wheel overseeing the town all in one day? If you haven’t, this is the number one spot for a family who enjoys animals and attractions all at the same time for an affordable price.
These attractions and activities don’t even scrap the bottom of the barrel for Houston’s attractions. Some other attractions over the cities radius include the Houston Ballet, the Galleria Mall, multiple Cheesecake Factory locations, and discounted stores scattered on Harwin Dr. which includes just about every purchase one could desire to make. Didn’t bring the family? Just spark up a conversation with a friendly Houstonian who’d love to converse or direct you to a new attraction within walking downtown distance.
