I have been reading about the terrible earthquake that struck Haiti, just outside the capital city of Port-au-Prince. Estimates are now of more than 100,000 people killed by this earthquake with a magnitude of 7.
I don’t know about you, but I think that this is close to the last place that needs such a tragedy. The people of Haiti struggle enough already.
I visited there many years ago and it is a beautiful country, but very poor and in need of resources and help from others. With their government, it will be difficult to overcome a blow like this and I wish I could go there and help them.
