The "Andaman Adventure" is a 13-day trip that takes you from the exciting city of Bangkok to the rainforest in Khao Sok National Park. Guests will ride elephants, tube down rivers, snorkel and scuba dive on a tropical island while also participating in community projects such as mangrove restoration, working with local children and teaching English to locals. These volunteer activities take place in Ban Talae Nok, a city hit by the 2004 Tsunami. There are four available trips in July and August and prices range from $1,888 to $2,098. These prices (per person) will include transportation, accommodations and meals throughout the trip, but please note that international airfare is an additional cost.
The "Call of the Wild" is a 15-day trip beginning with an African safari that works with the Wildlife Research Project. Guests will be able to witness large wild animals such as rhinos, elephants and lions, studying their behavior and natural habitats. The trip is offered on 8 separate occasions from April through December and departures are priced at $1,993/person. This includes transportation, accommodations and meals, while international airfare will cost an additional fee.
