Yes, a travel agent can help you plan and book either a 2-day or 4-day Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu with your family. They can provide you with information about the route, the necessary permits and equipment, as well as accommodations and meals on the trek. They can also assist with transportation to and from the trailhead, and provide guidance on the best time of year to do the trek.
We recommend the following tours:It’s recommended to book your trek with a reputable travel agency well in advance to secure your dates and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for your family.

There are a number of day length options to travel on the Inca Travel. It really depends what section and route you which to take. The guide below has some great information on this subject. Best of luck!

To me, you can’t do the Trail of the Machu Picchu with little kids, except if you take the bus to the top.

We are planning a hiking by Inca trail and seeing Machu Picchu before heading to the Amazon in June with our family with children of 6, 9 and 11 years old. We are between this tours:

Our children are in activity all the year, but we need more travelers experiences for the 4 days trekking tour.Any suggestions are welcome
