One day, my home VPN connected to Mexico instead of my New York City home location. With my active VPN, I searched for Dallas hotels while logged in to the Marriott Bonvoy member site.
When I checked the same hotel rates on another browser, after pausing the VPN, the rate was higher. When I turned it back on and checked again, the price per room decreased.
