I had a great time learning about life in Costa Rica this past summer on my program with Sol Abroad.
My Costa Rican family, who hosted me for three weeks, made me feel right at home, and they were the most special part of my experience.
I loved having two little Tica “sisters”, as I don’t actually have any real sisters. I stay in touch with them still, with letters and phone calls.
They were so welcoming! I learned so much from them about their culture, and I look forward to visiting them again some day.
I hope that everyone has such a great opportunity to learn so much about another cultural.
