There was a time when Pattaya was nothing but a humble fishing village. Now, it is one of the most famous and visited tourist places in the whole of Thailand. Pattaya has some of the best attractions of Thailand and is considered as a party land for adults. But when it comes to planning a trip with children, most people avoid Pattaya.
This common notion that Pattaya is only an adult destination is a myth. It has plenty of exciting activities for kids as well. Visiting Pattaya with kids can be fun, engaging and extremely exciting if you know where and how to spend your family time.
Here’s a list of the best things to do in Pattaya if you are travelling with kids.
Visit the Koh Larn Coral Island
Take your family for a day trip to the beautiful coral island of Koh Larn. An excellent place for spending a full day with family, Koh Larn is located 7km off the coast. Also known as Koh Lan, this wonderful little island has 6 main beaches with many watersport activities including parasailing, jet skiing and more. The beaches also serve some of the most assorted menu of seafood. While you can visit the island for a day trip and come back to the city at night, there are many resorts and hotels as well if you want to spend night there.
Cartoon Network Amazone water and amusement park
An excellent place to spend time with your kids, the Pattaya Cartoon Network Amazone amusement and water park boasts of various fun water slides suitable for all age groups. The adrenaline junkies will enjoy the high storey tower from where you can jump off and enjoy gutsy ride all the way down to the water pool. The whole day at the amusement park can prove to be a day well spent and rest assured your kids are going to enjoy to the fullest.
Go- Kart in Pattaya
The Go- Kart track in the city of Pattaya attracts tourists and locals alike. Offering a perfect family fun time together, the Go Karting center has special karts for little kids too. They are safe, secure and ridden by even the first time riders too. With more than three go kart courses in the city, and catering to kids as young as 1 years of age, the Go Karting scene in Pattaya is definitely to look forward to. The top three go karting courses available are Pattaya kart, Easy Kart and Speedway. Go Karting is one of the most popular things to do in Pattaya with Kids.
Siracha Tiger Zoo
Take your kids for a 30-minute drive in the outskirts of the city to see the famous Siracha Tiger zoo. One of the most famous zoos in Thailand, Siracha Tiger Zoo boasts of many local and exotic animal species that are rare to be seen. The spacious zoo boasts of exquisite birds, crocodiles, and exotic variety of tigers, and a stunning flora that adds to the beauty of the place. The huge area of the zoo can be covered by shuttle service specially dedicated for the comfort of the tourists.
The Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum
With over 300 exhibits to astonish your mind, The Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum has on display some shocking truths and stories that are stranger than fiction. An amazing place to visit for the whole family, the museum takes you by surprise at every step. Along with the 3D effect museum, it also offers various rides and slides for the added fun for kids. Various fun rides, the famous skyrider, and a 12D moving theatre keep the kids busy for the whole day.
Louis Tussauds Waxwork Museum
So what if you haven’t been to the Madame Tussauds, if you’re in Pattaya you can visit the Louis Tussauds Waxwork museum with 68 of your favorite celebrity wax statues. Divided into 9 different zones namely, the Pop Stars, Chamber of Secrets, British Royalty, Political & Humanitarian Leaders, Horror Den, Batman & Friends and Celebrates in Character. Each of the celebrity displayed has a small digital screen section nearby telling their claim to fame in both English and Thai language.
Go fishing in Pattaya
One of the best things to do in Pattaya for kids is to go fishing with them. Boasting of various great fishing spots, fishing can prove to be a great fun family time together. Fishing equipment’s are easily available on rent and you can make them learn and enjoy fishing with your kids. Most families opt for fishing to spend some great family time.
Visit the Sanctuary of Truth
While spending some cherished family together, visiting the Sanctuary of truth should definitely be on your itinerary. A beautiful and grand temple boasting of intricate wooden carvings, the place has influence of Thai, Hindu, Chinese and Khmer art and culture. Bringing the kids here and introducing them to the faiths and beliefs of the locals can add greatly to the cherished experiences of the trip. Moreover, the stunning vistas and the photos taken here are sure to be one of the best memories of your entire trip.
It is true that Pattaya does not enjoy a very good reputation amongst families with kids, thanks to its naughty image in the adult scene, but Pattaya is not just about that. While there is no denial that it has some serious enjoyment for adults, calling it a city not fit for taking kids is an overrated statement. All you have to do is a little research and visit the places that are suitable to be visited with kids. The best way to ensure your kind of travel is to carefully book Pattaya holiday packages online keeping in mind the kind of travel you are planning to do.
So, wait no more, book your tickets to Pattaya today!

Have you ever actually traveled with kids? It doesn’t seem like it by the tone of this article.
Hello Dr Ramesh,
If both legal guardians or birth parents of the child are traveling with the child, you will not need any other documentation, except everyone’s visas and passports. Check with your employer about medical insurance. If they will not provide medical coverage overseas, you can inquire with your U.S. based insurance company about what they provide. Some travel insurance companies sell one-year policies to cover students studying overseas and that might be another option. Safe Travels!
Sir, we both are going Europe with work visa on base of permit. Taking our 3year old child with us. Any letter or medical form/ paper we need to carry with us?

Our family of 3 adults booked a tour with Kalka Travels in April 2018. Our tour included transportation and accommodation in Delhi, Pushkar, Udaipur, Bundi, Jaipur and Agra. We then caught an overnight train to Varanasi where we met up with a third party contracted by Kalka Travel. Overall we were very happy with the tour company as they delivered on what we had pre-arranged with them. We upgraded our vehicle to a SUV rather than just a sedan, and added an elephant ride to Agra Fort, tickets to traditional dance show in Udaipur, a movie at the Raj Mandir theatre in Jaipur as well as water was supplied each day to us. All breakfasts were included. Our driver Ravinder was exceptional in that he was always on time and patient with us sometimes being late; the vehicle was always cleaned that morning and comfortable. He was highly attentive to our needs, very reliable, polite, and humorous, and told us what to expect at each stop. We always felt very safe with him as he was an excellent driver. His English was good in that we were able to ask many questions of him. Kalka Travels was flexible with our itinerary and our driver stopped at a few places that were not on our list of stops, unlike the other company we had considered booking who told us the drivers could not be flexible. Our wonderful driver, Ravinder, made our trip very special. Kalka Travels also only asked for a $100 deposit in advance and the remainder when we arrived in India, which put us at ease. Bobby Thakur was very quick to respond to any concerns we had. All in all, a wonderful vacation and experience with Kalka Travels.

There are many famous forts and palaces along with wildlife sanctuaries and other monuments which has attracted thousands of visitors and some of them have become a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site as well.
We are completely in accord with these ‘not to miss 5 experiences in Dubai.’ We experienced them on a family trip last year. The one thing we missed out was the charter yacht. Now we have taken it as a priority for our next trip after reading your post.
Look like you had a great adventure trip. The ship looks awesome.
Dubai is amazing. I really enjoyed reading your article! 🙂
I just found a website that lists apple festivals all over the country! So you can find something in your area. They all seem a little bit different, which is fun. http://pickyourown.org/applefestivals.php
St john is more quite than other Caribbean islands. St John accessible only by ferry from the other U.S. Virgin Islands, St. John is a true gem in the Caribbean with crystal clear waters, lush green mountains and gorgeous white sand beaches. Though it is the smallest of the three U.S. Virgin Islands, St. John’s unspoiled beauty is perhaps the greatest found anywhere in the Caribbean.

Being in the city of Royal Tents in Jaisalmer of moving sand ridges, you can’t get away from the seat travel. A rough ride on a camel in the Thar Desert is one of the energizing things to do in Jaisalmer Royal Camps. It enables you to investigate the remote and segregated spots tucked amidst the abandon. Absolutely, the additional time you give on your safari, the more remote spots you are probably going to see and the more you may acclimate to and appreciate the abandon serenity.
I am going to Dubai next month thanks for sharing this information will come in handy
