Going to Italy - My Family Travels

As I was waiting for the plane to take off I kept thinking to myself about what it was going to be like in Italy, till I got there. During my trip in Italy, I learned a lot about the country’s culture and history. The country compared to America is so different and it is surprising how a couple of hours across the globe can make such an impact.

In Italy there is an island called Capri Island and when I was there it felt very soothing and peaceful yet it was also really fun. All the houses situated on the island were built on top of the mountain. Everything there was white and it gave a type of feeling where I just wanted to stay there forever.

During the time on the island, I went on a boat ride around the whole piece of land and as the breeze blew towards me it felt really good. The amazing thing was that compared to the water in the ocean nearby the city in New York, the water in Capri Island was incredibly blue and quite breathtaking. Other than going to the island, I also went to Venice.

The city of Venice looks exactly like what you would see on the travel channel. The weather was extremely hot during that time because of the bad heat waves but the St. Marks Square was awesome! I got to feed the birds in real life, which was what I always wanted to do since visiting Venice through my television set.

The bridges and shops in Venice are so beautiful and ancient that it makes you feel so strange because you are walking in the same city that many of the ancient civilizations were located. The lanes and streets that I walked through were just so breathtaking that I couldn’t even describe it. In Venice I also went on a gondola, which is a long type of canoe that has someone to row the boat for you while singing.

The whole trip in Italy was completely fabulous. I loved it and I know that one day I would want to go back to Italy. Till this day I still can’t get the images of Italy out!

Absolutely love this list of Mardi Gras celebrations outside New Orleans! Each destination seems to offer its own unique blend of culture, music, and vibrant festivities. While I’m tempted to explore them all, I can’t help but dream of experiencing the colorful chaos of Mardi Gras in Goa, India. Exploring India’s rich cultural tapestry during this festive season would undoubtedly be an unforgettable adventure. Thanks for inspiring wanderlust with these fantastic recommendations!
