And All OUR Dreams Will Come True - My Family Travels
famtrip

Recently, me and my family finally got to take a trip that we were working so hard on this year; to Disneyland California. We've been planning the trip for years, but never got the chance to do it because of unfortunate events that kept happening. When we woke up early morning on June 5th, roughly around 3 a.m, I was no where near exhausted, but jubilant to realize, "Wow, we're finally doing this." It would be the first time ever where my mother, me, and my brother finally had the chance to leave Texas for the first time in our lives. It was an amazing experience, an experience that none of us would forget, because we were all together.

The drive from San Antonio Texas to Anaheim California was excruciating, with the combination of being car sick and the pain in our rumps for sitting in the car for too long, yet we all knew that the journey to our destination would be a great experience for our family. We could all barely fall asleep, especially me, where we would all try to absorb the scenery into our mind and enjoy the beauty of the unseen wonders of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and the beautiful California. It was amazing, for the moutains that continued to escalate when we would arise closer to our destination was too much for me, and the feel of the anticipation of the other drivers on the road to their own family vacations, drove me into staying awake for the rest of the way. When the moment came when we first arrived into New Mexico, I felt like we were all getting too excited for our own good, but also it was the start of our new adventure going into different territory. I could feel the childish buzz going on in our car, with my dad smiling happily at me and my brother, and my mom smiling at my dad with the corner of her lips reaching to her ear. It was an amazing feeling, to have all of us more excited that we already were before. Even though we arrived in New Mexico, we still had a long way to go, thirteen hours to be exact, but it surely did seem to go by quicker than we were trying to do while getting out of Texas.

Getting through New Mexico was simple, and getting out of Arizona was pretty simple too, but every mile that we would approach California, it felt like time started to slow down, but the moment we finally arrived passed the "Welcome to California" billboard, my family and I got our excitement back. The day after we finally got to settle into our hotel in Anaheim, we finally went to Disneyland. It felt like our whole family were little toddlers again, smiling and laughing at all of the amazing things they had to offer and more. The whole entire drive was worth it, because I could feel the happiness all around us. Disneyland will always remain in our hearts, like a dream that has come true, especially because I noticed the tears in my parents faces when we walked through the gates.

The best part of the day was when Disneyland was about to close, they had this special finale for everyone in the park and in Anaheim, where we got to see a beautiful display of fireworks over the Disney castle, with the songs that matched the display. The moment will always be unforgettable, and me and my family will keep the memory in our hearts for a long time.

Absolutely love this list of Mardi Gras celebrations outside New Orleans! Each destination seems to offer its own unique blend of culture, music, and vibrant festivities. While I’m tempted to explore them all, I can’t help but dream of experiencing the colorful chaos of Mardi Gras in Goa, India. Exploring India’s rich cultural tapestry during this festive season would undoubtedly be an unforgettable adventure. Thanks for inspiring wanderlust with these fantastic recommendations!
