Last summer, I had the great opportunity of visiting the Grand Tetons National Park for a few days in Wyoming. My first favorite part had to be spending time with my family in such a beautiful park. I could have stayed there for several days looking around and hiking every trail possible. My second favorite part had to be capturing some great shots of the lakes and mountains that made amazing backdrops for some great shots. Lastly, the temperature was definitely something I personally enjoyed because it was in the low sixties which felt amazingly perfect to me.
On my family’s first day at the park, we visited and passed Jackson Lake which was breathtakingly beautiful. We stopped at the different turnouts including Jackson Lake Overlook, Willow Flats Overlook, Oxbow Bend, Elk Ranch Flats, Mount Moran, Potholes, and the Jackson Lake Dam turnouts. Out of all of the stopping points, I would definitely have to say that my favorite had to be the Jackson Lake Overlook because I was able to get some amazing shots with my camera of the mountains amazing reflection on Jackson Lake. I love the clearness and could have stayed at there forever. I was also able to have some great family shots with my sisters and parents which helped create some memories that will last a lifetime. After looking around half of the park, my family went to an adorable (and nice) hotel called the 49er Inn and hotel in Jackson. The town fun with an absolutely family friendly shootout that was supposed to be set in the old west. I really enjoyed the evening watching the shootout and shopping in the little touristy shops along the boardwalk.
On my family’s second day, we visited the Grand Teton National Park’s second half we had left. We visited and stopped to look at the Snake River Outlook and the infamous Cunningham Cabin Historic sight which I enjoyed as a history buff 🙂 I would definitely say the story is well worth hearing by the guide and the view behind the cabin is simply breathtaking in its own way. Following the cabin and river stops, we stopped along the Teton Point and Glacier View turnouts to get some more great shots of the mountains. I definitely have to say that I think you could call the park very photogenic A few other places we visited that day included the Mountain View, Cathedral Group, Cascade Canyon, Jenny Lake, and Teton Glacier turnouts. The favorites of these places had to be Jenny Lake’s turnout due to the captivating blue lake and picturesque mountains and the Cathedral Group turnout which I like because of a neat story of how they were named.
Overall, the Grand Teton National Park experience had to be one that I will always remember because I was able to enjoy amazing moments with my family and had the privilege to admire that land that America contains with its natural beauty and breathtaking views. The park is definitely a place I want to return to when I have the privilege to go back, and I would highly recommend taking a trip to the park to see beautiful sights. If you’re into skiing, Jackson is a great skiing town and full of great amenities for year around events. For me though, I will always remember an amazing and pleasant trip that was truly relaxing with family and God’s beautiful creations in the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.

Yes, recent trends suggest that Americans are regaining confidence in vacations and travel. As travel restrictions ease and vaccination rates increase, many Americans are showing a greater willingness to travel and explore destinations again. However, it’s important to stay updated on travel advisories and safety measures to ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.
Reading Fran Falkin’s insights took me back to my first trip with Whiskers, my feline companion. The chaos of ensuring he was comfortable amidst the hustle of the airport was a lesson in patience. Had I come across these invaluable tips earlier, our journey would’ve been as smooth as a calm sea.
