Northern Nevada, is my home, I've lived here my whole life. It hasn't always been my favorite place, but as I get ready for college, I see more and more value behind it. While Northern Nevada seems to be just any old place, it is so much more. All in one day, you can go skiing and then head up to the lake. Northern Nevada is a hub for people of all different interests to come explore. Whether you are into history or nature, there is something for you. Just twenty minutes from Reno, is Virginia City, an old town preserved in the past with a full day of exploring. You can go see generation and generations of marble grave sites, you can order a sarsaparilla from the local saloon and watch an old time gun fight in the middle of the street.
Up the opposite highway, is the majestic Lake Tahoe. All year long you can go up and see the endless blue water circled by the emerald green trees. Care for a swim? A group of friends and I jumped in, in the middle of March, mind you it was less than 50 degrees. In the summer, the water is the perfect temperature and the sand is hot. On any given day from Memorial Day to Labor Day you will see Para sailors, sailboats and paddle boarders. People travel all over the world to get a glimpse of this blue beauty.
On your way up to the lake, or on your way around it, you will notice many ski resorts. From November to April you can go up and shred the mountain at any of the multiple ski resorts, with terrain for every level of boarder or skier. Maybe skiing, isn't your thing. How about sledding? Just traveling up the mountain you will find hundreds of exhilarating sled spots, from little tikes to any age, they will have a blast. All of these great sledding spots double as hiking terrain in the summer. You can hike to see a beautiful view of the lake from above, go find a waterfall or even go geocaching. The possibilities are endless here in Northern Nevada.
Maybe you don't feel like driving up to the lake. Right in the heart of Reno flows the Truckee River, home of a great white water rafting event and a perfect place to spend a lazy Saturday, you can even let your pooch take a dip in the water. After your swim down the river, you can stop off and get yourself an ice cream cone and explore the cultural downtown Reno. All in one area you can go to the Nevada Museum of Art, quaint coffee shops and many antique shops with great finds just waiting for you.
While seeming like just a little city surrounded by a lot of wilderness, Northern Nevada has fun to offer to any age group, any interest level and any walk of life. If you haven't visited Northern Nevada, you haven't lived life to the fullest.

Great advise and said in very simple language in order for a range of readers to process. I must add that the symptoms and solutions are equally as important in adults who suffer from abdominal illness.
the family market is indeed very important and very lucrative. Focosing on the Family market is what Wal-Mart made big.

This place is awesome. We have delivered baby equipment rentals there a couple times and love it. It seems to work great for families traveling with young kids because the age range is usually between 2-8 years old when we deliver. Great beach and location. Thumbs up!

I through my own experience, would advise against air travel with any ear, throat or nose infections. It is difficult to move through the change of air pressure, without adding a cold to it.

It's a shame more airports don't take steps to make travel for families more convenient and fun. I'm sure they are focused on the core income stream of business travelers, which makes sense. Still, why not try and appeal to both?

That place totally awesome. A perfect place for family vacation. That waterfall really make me jealous. It shall be refreshing to soak up under that waterfall. The beach also really charming, I wonder how much it cost to go there?
