New Orleans, Louisiana is the perfect place for tourist to visit. I’ve lived here for 16 years and not once in my life have I had an unexciting day. There’s practically something for everyone to do and enjoy here in the great city of New Orleans. We have countless places to get delicious food, great music, breathtaking scenery, and also incredible entertainment. What more could a tourist ask for? Once you come to visit, you’ll never want to leave. Tourist from all parts of the country come down to New Orleans to see if everything they hear is true. Once they arrive, they notice it’s more than they expected. The first thing I would show them is the French Quarter. This is mainly where all the fun begins. All around you’ll find heartwarming tasting food, appealing music, and also enjoyable works of art. The first thing I’d recommend tourist to taste is the hot, mouthwatering beignets from Cafe Du Monde. This incredible coffee shop is located across from Jackson Square. These delicious beignets will have you craving for more. While you consume those wonderful beignets, you can hear great music being played less than thirty feet away right across from Jackson Square. There are several other places to get delicious meals from. There’s Acme Oyster House, Emeril’s, Emeril’s Delmonico, and Muriel’s Jackson Square just to name a few. There are also many historical attractions you should see. With a lot of fun, also comes a lot of history. New Orleans has interesting historical attractions for everyone. There’s the Longue Vue House & Gardens, Hermann-Grima House, the World War II Museum, and the Historic New Orleans Collection. Some cultural places to visit are the New Orleans Museum of Art, Muriel Jackson Square and The Ogden Museum of Southern Art only to name a few. There are also many nearby places to have a good time at in New Orleans. We have The House of Blues, Krazy Korner, Crescent City Brew House, Harris Casino, the New Orleans Arena, and the Mercedes Superdome. Normally different types of musical artist locally and nationally come to the House of Blues to perform. During football season, you can watch the New Orleans Saints, in the Mercedes Superdome, play football against other NFL teams each Sunday. These games are always filled with excited fans that get the entire crowd pumped up. Plus, there are also people to meet besides the people that live here. You have the star quarter back for the New Orleans Saints Drew Brees, actor Nicolas Cage, and maybe even actress Sandra Bullock. You may just get lucky and run into many other starts because New Orleans is a pretty popular place stars like to visit. There’s also the New Orleans Arena where you can watch our basketball team, the New Orleans Pelicans, play basketball against other NBA teams. Coming to New Orleans, Louisiana is a great experience. Tourist will never want to leave here because of the great time they’ll have. When you come here to New Orleans, you’re promised to get more than you’ve expected.
