Soddy Daisy, what city could be more charming than one with a flower in the name? No city! Soddy Daisy is a rural woodland, lake area, filled with plenty of places to swim, hike, eat, and have family fun.

There are so many things to do around Soddy during the summer! You can go hiking through the Montlake trails, and find a great place to swim in the clear, clean water. But what if you don't feel like swimming? That's fine, take a trip to Scramble Alley Playground or the Veteran's Memorial Park with the kids and have a day out in the sunshine! Either way, Kay's Kastle is just down the road where you can get some great ice cream and a hot dog from a local family business.

Need something to do for the holidays? This is the best place for it! You can sit at Soddy Lake and watch the fireworks on Independence Day, go to the Pumpkin Festival or a Trunk-or-Treat at one of the many churches for Halloween, watch the Christmas Parade pass, and even rent out the Senior Neighbors Center for a birthday party.

So, Soddy may have all these places and events going on, but what about the people? Coming from a Soddy girl, "They got a little bit a' that southern comfort yer always hearin' 'bout!". No matter where you're at around Soddy, there will be a friendly someone within reach. It's a tight-knit accepting community where everyone knows everyone and the people are willing to assist no matter who you are.

If you're looking for somewhere to move where a house will always feel like a home, Soddy is the place to be. Our convenient little community may not be a sandy beach or a water park, but it is definitely a place to come for active, outdoor fun at a low price.
