An incredibly lifelike Lady Gaga debuted in Las Vegas and seven other Madame Tussauds’ worldwide attractions, including two other U.S. locations – Madame Tussauds New York, and Madame Tussauds Hollywood.

All eight Lady Gaga wax figures were unveiled at once, with each Madame Tussauds tableau revealing a different portrayal of Lady Gaga. Additional foreign cities to see the garments that this rock star inhabits include London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
How do they do it? Each figure was first sculpted in clay before being molded in wax, said a spokesperson for Madame Tussauds corporate office.

“A team of expert artists then accurately recreated color and skin tones, replicating every freckle, mole and dimple,” she adds (we won’t comment on Lady Gaga’s skin!), “before the make-up, artists, hairdressers and stylists finished off the variety of looks.”

The painstaking process took four months to complete at a cost of more than $300,000 per figure, adding up to grand total of $2.4 million for all eight figures. And that’s in 2010 dollars, they year they were installed to commemorate Lady Gaga’s win as Billboard’s Artist of the Year.

However, you might not be aware that she is a champion fund raiser for AIDS Awareness, has been active in gay rights issues, actively supports our troops, and has been a philanthropist to all sorts of causes.
For many girls, as well, her outrageous style, fierce independence, intelligence and undeniable success are very inspiring. We believe the exhibits at Mme Tussauds will be a big success.
As a parent of two young boys I don't find anything positive about Lady Gaga. It is sad that FTF is promoting her. Her dress and her comments do more to harm young children then help.
It is understandable that the Brits would promote her but I guess I expected better from an organization like FTF.
