Heading your way up the winding roads, you’ll be able to witness the beautiful structures that took over thousands of years to create. Those few hours of driving will breeze by with the beautiful scenery encompassed all around you.
You’ll soon find yourself within Kenosha Pass, witnessing the aspen trees in all their glory. I remember myself in awe the first time I saw these trees – speechless in fact. Ever since my first trip to Kenosha Pass, my family and I have made time to try to drive up annually. With their neighboring dark green pine trees, clear blue sky with the occasional cloud, the pure white bark and golden hue of the aspen leaves contrasts brilliantly with each other, leaving one of the most beautiful sceneries I have had the chance to see.
The best part about this trip is the fact that there really is no set trail one needs to follow. This trip is all about adventuring the forest. No matter where you decide to walk, you’ll be able to see the aspen trees. This trip is all about taking your time. There is no need to rush. By embracing the environment around you, soaking up the sun, feeling the soft touch of the breeze, and listening to the occasional bird chirp, this walk will leave you in bliss. You’ll soon find yourself not wanting to leave – this trip will leave an unforgettable memory that will stick with you forever.
Although fall is known as the season of melancholy, where trees take one last breath before continuing to rest for the winter, aspen trees bring new meaning to the season.
