As Senior Editor at Family Travel Forum for 15 years I wore several hats. It was fascinating to visit destinations from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, the Netherlands to Italy, China to New Zealand and places in between for research. I wrote about locations and experiences for families with children of all ages - from the tiniest travelers to reunion groups of several generations, and was delighted to share my love of traveling. Additionally, I managed Family Travel Forum's Annual Teen Travel Writing Scholarship contest for young writers for 12 years.
Now retired, I spend my time volunteering at an animal shelter, helping people with genealogical research, and singing in a community chorus. I keep my suitcase near and am always ready to pack for a trip.
