The Grammy’s make us dream about the big year for Lady Gaga. When one of the world’s most flamboyant and individual performers joined the A-list at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas in 2010, more Lady Gaga wax figures appeared! This year, several of the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museums are reopening under strict new safety protocols and they sure are a fun escape!
Now, her “little monsters” can pose with the wax look-alike and don their favorite Lady Gaga inspired masks and costumes. Post a few selfies of you and Gaga and see how many of your friends think it’s the real celebrity.
An incredibly lifelike Lady Gaga debuted in Las Vegas and seven other Madame Tussauds’ worldwide attractions, including two other U.S. locations – Madame Tussauds New York, and Madame Tussauds Hollywood.

All eight Lady Gaga wax figures were unveiled at once, with each Madame Tussauds tableau revealing a different portrayal of Lady Gaga. Additional foreign cities to see the garments that this rock star inhabits include London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
How do they do it? Each figure was first sculpted in clay before being molded in wax, said a spokesperson for Madame Tussauds corporate office.

“A team of expert artists then accurately recreated color and skin tones, replicating every freckle, mole and dimple,” she adds (we won’t comment on Lady Gaga’s skin!), “before the make-up, artists, hairdressers and stylists finished off the variety of looks.”

The painstaking process took four months to complete at a cost of more than $300,000 per figure, adding up to grand total of $2.4 million for all eight figures. And that’s in 2010 dollars, they year they were installed to commemorate Lady Gaga’s win as Billboard’s Artist of the Year.

This was seriously such a life-changing trip for me. I got to see a whole other way that people live life. It really opened my eyes and made me EVEN MORE eager to learn German and to adopt a more frugal lifestyle.

Going on that trip was the best thing I have done in my life. I learned so much, and experienced many different things, such as food, culture, and people. It was a great opportunity for me, and I highly advise others to travel as well. You will not be disappointed.
I recommend this or a similar trip for any future paleontologists. I have since been to the Field Museum in Chicago and the American Museum of Natural History in New York, and am pleased to have visited all the major paleontological museums in North America.

My time in El Salvador changed my life. It is my dream that one day I will be able to return there. I can honestly tell you that my love for the people in El Salvador has remained with me. And I hope the best for that nation.
The summer of my sophmore year in high school I spent a week in El Salvador. This one week changed my life. As I volunteered in El Salvador I gained an amazing view of different cultures and life styles. I developed a love for El Salvador and its people. This is a really fun outing, but if you can't get out to the countryside, just visit one of those urban tree sellers. A lot of them in the northeast are staffed by college kids from Canada, who take a break, get into a rental trailer and drive it south, then re-sell trees they have bought on consignment to pay for the next semester.
I always ask (nicely) and I always get (with a smile), the extra boughs that they take off to make the trees look even all around. With some ribbon, maybe the wire from a coat hanger and lots of creativity, it's easy to get the kids helping you turn old boughts into beautiful wreaths for around the house.
