The family amenity specs at the Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak are impressive when seen online. Note the 563 all-suite accommodations that include a separate living room, two flat-screen TVs and a queen-sized sofa bed. Plus, there are two-story casitas and 224 newly refreshed Agave Suites at North Pointe with a concierge and dedicated pool.

Their website boasts a terrific daily kids club. See aerials of the four-acre River Ranch Water Park that features a winding lazy river, waterslide, and mini golf. Surprisingly, the reality down on the ground at this Phoenix, Arizona resort is just as good as the numbers.
We spent four nights at the hotel for the annual TMS Family Travel Summit. The think tank-style gathering of media and travel industry executives discussed multigenerational travel. Most of the attendees were avid family travelers and good judges of family resorts.
What Multigenerational Families Need from a Vacation
So how does the Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak stack up on the Multigen-ometer?
Our travel industry think tank identified a few key requirements to make multigenerational vacations successful, and the Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak does them all well. Here’s our scorecard.
1. Multigenerational families love activities for all ages to enjoy together.

The Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak has several swimming pools. Choose between active and noisy — like the fun River Ranch waterpark — or the quiet and convenient pools outside both the South and North hotel room wings.
Additionally, the resort schedules several family-together activities. Allow time to make and bake little flour and water animal sculptures while waiting for your delicious “low and slow” cooked barbecue at the Hole-in-the-Wall restaurant.
2. Phoenix Hilton boasts expert childcare so adults and kids have time apart with peers, or just to relax.
Coyote Camp Kids for ages 4 to 12 meets daily, for a full or half day or an evening session. Fees are moderate for supervised arts n’ crafts, cooking, pool play and games. Several evenings each week, Parents Night Out encourages parents to enjoy a meal at the Hole in the Wall BBQ or walk over to Aunt Chilada’s while kids are enjoying dinner and a movie together.
The on-site Tocasierra Spa has a variety of adult fitness classes and wellness treatments like their Signature Facial. Inquire about the seasonal kids spa parties and teen beauty treatments for younger guests.
3. Multigenerational travelers want a safe and secure vacation place like Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak.
The Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak is in a planned community just 20 minutes from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Friendly and helpful staff and security are around to offer a golf cart ride or, in one case, provide medical care to someone who fainted from dehydration (a more common occurrence than you might think).
A jogging and bike path within the community leads past hotel facilities, condos, beautiful homes and recreation facilities, while cars remain on the perimeter. Although there are no lifeguards on duty at the many pools, the resort plays a water safety video on their closed circuit TV system with water safety tips to remind parents how dangerous a pool can be.
4. Value for money and extra family perks are always delightful surprises.
The Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak is not unique, but it does what it does very well. Phoenix and neighboring Scottsdale have many, many fine five-star resorts and country clubs where money is no object. But multigenerational groups, regardless if parents or grandparents are paying for children, shop the four-star properties and rate “value” as a top priority.
Therefore, having room nights priced at half the rate of many other resorts nearby, makes the Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak a very good value. Seasonal events such as a jelly bean taste testing contest over Easter, or weekends when local animals are brought in to create a petting zoo at no extra charge, are the type of thoughtful family amenity that turns family vacations into family traditions, repeated year after year.

5. Multigen travelers seek out learning experiences or family adventures where memories are made.
A learning experience or family adventure where memories are made and ties are formed are extra important to multigenerational travelers.
Multigenerational or extended family vacations, even more than parent-child ones, succeed when there’s an opportunity to learn something new or share family lore with the younger ones. At Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak, which has been a fixture of Phoenix resort life for many years, you can pose for a “Most Wanted” sepia toned photo with the kids, take a guided hike into the desert, watch a classic kids film during the Friday night Dive-In Movies by the pool, work on puzzles and join an Arizona Trivia contest.
Just outside the property, families can explore the delightful Musical Instrument Museum nearby, or visit the Heard Museum to admire Native American art.

Hi! I’ve been reading your site for a while now and finally got the courage to go ahead and give you a shout out from Austin Texas! Just wanted
to say keep up the great work!
Quite informative article!! Gives hopes for getting onto a plane again soon.
I had a wonderful experience this summer in Croatia. It’s part of it, called Istria, and the city is Pula. Beautiful city! I was there for ten days, with my family, and we wanted to explore a little bit of the area so we used Google to find out what we can do. The first thing we found was a boat excursion with https://www.vacation-istria.com, and we decided to take a tour. What I can say is that it was great! We took a day tour around the islands of Brioni near Pula, two hours on the boat with lunch, and two hours of swimming on the nice small island! Beautiful nature. Brioni National Park looks great! I just want to tell everyone, not to waste time, let yourself go and enjoy it! I intend to visit that area next year again, and I will do it for sure!
We visited Disneyland Orlando in October 2019. Had a super-duper time. This article reminds me of those days. Thanks for sharing !

After trying a few car hauling services we found online, I was getting very discouraged about moving my mother-in-law’s car from Florida to Philadelphia. Then I heard about this service and found out they were reasonably priced (within $100 of the car hauler rate) and very communicative. They emailed me a contract, plus the driver’s info so we could add him to our insurance (turned out to be Luke, a really nice guy). We paid their fee plus the cost of Ubers to and from the airport so Luke could go home and voila — the car was there in less than 72 hours. Perfect shape, they had checked out tires, oil and water etc before they left Florida and then had it washed. I was really delighted. They put my mind at ease. Highly recommend them.

Vail and the other Rocky Mountain resorts are absolutely phenomenal in the summer time. They are definitely better value during the summer season, and there might actually be more to do in the summer than in the winter! (I’m a Vail Valley local of 10+ years btw)
I am glad we are able to travel this summer and the COVID thing is somewhat under control. Thanks for the great article, will share it on social.

Travel is gaining momentum again, opening up the knowledge of exceptional experiences. Travelers have the opportunity to get to know the area better, see nature and discover local attractions. Try to get to know the entertainment created by the locals and get excited for a lifetime. More optimism when choosing unique trips, as it is an ideal opportunity to get to know the country by getting to know the locals.

Getting a positive report these days seems like a negative response because of the infestation of coronavirus. So one must be careful while travelling and must use precautions so that the person doesn’t catch up with the covid virus. A thought from a website designing company
