Heading to DC from SF for teaching job. Will drive your car.

I’m an SF-based journalist heading to Washington DC for a 3-month teaching job for the spring semester at John’s Hopkins University, leaving in January. I’d prefer to drive instead of flying, because it would allow me to take more of my things. I don’t think my 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid will survive the trip, though it’s a great car. Therefore I’m looking to drive someone else’s car in exchange for just the cost of gas and hotel/food expenses (no need to buy me a plane ticket or pay for my time). I’m a seasoned professional and very responsible with references and a pristine driving record. If interested, let me know.
