Our family visited St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands this summer. We stayed at the great Wyndham Resort, where our kids loved the private beach and the 31+ acres. The resort is huge, with five tennis courts, a kids’ club, three pools with waterfalls, and a movie theater. The best part for the kids was choosing their own meals in the two restaurants. The staff is friendly and Chinese; there is plenty of fruit and great food. Other great things to do were watching iguanas, birds and ducks in the area, trying the whirlpool, and visiting the fitness center. We also learned about weddings Caribbean-style, because each and every day there were weddings at the resort, as well as nightly shows. Unfortunately, we had to connect through San Juan for flights on American Eagle, which were delayed. But it was worth the hassle — we had a wonderful trip.
